Basic Meat Knife: Carbon Steel Slicing Knife
While you could use a chef knife to do most of your slicing tasks, but slicing knife will help you to execute accurate cuts on larger portions.
This slicing knife is 8'', the same length as a normal chef's knife, but it's engineered to handle all kinds of meats. Taper-ground edge and perfect balance allow for long-lasting sharpness and high efficiency while chopping and carving. Making it perfect for cut cold deli meats, bread, pastries, baked hams and roasts.

Our Legacy knife is made of German high carbon steel and the higher carbon stainless steel allows the knife to be more flexible and thinner. This gives the blade excellent blade retention and a nice score of HRC56±2 on the Rockwell scale. You won’t need to sharpen this knife always.

Meanwhile, you may already notice its beautiful handle. It's made of fiberglass composite materials - called G10. Water penetration is extremely minimal due to the materials used and the construction of the handle, so G10 is definitely water-resistant. Also, a full tang that retreats into the handle, mounted with triple rivets will ensure the knife will last a long time. This also adds quite a bit of added durability to this TUO slicer.
